Shannon was terrific, working under a challenging situation—conducting a long-distance Facetime inventory, working to clarify and classify a decidedly disorganized estate, overseeing careful packing of vintage concert posters and music memorabilia, as well as personal belongings going into storage after a long-time friend's move to a nursing home. She never made assumptions but checked with me as to identifications and such, and made sure everything was clearly catalogued. And she also made sure that when the materials were moved into the storage unit, they were organized for easy access. Lots of photos as well, to make things even clearer. An amazing job all around I'm truly thankful for her partnership in this difficult time.

We highly recommend Potomac Concierge – a top notch business!!! Last year, we sold our home in McLean, VA and prepared to rent locally. A friend recommended Potomac Concierge and we worked with Aida Middel during a time of unknowns– where we would move, what we would do… Aida was helpful in suggesting what we needed at the rental… what could be stored, and what we should not keep. She was professional, cooperative, and considerate as we sifted through belongings making decisions. We appreciated suggestions vs. being asked what to do. She helped with packing and even with marking furniture placement when we found a rental. She also recommended a professional moving company, JK moving. A year later, we prepared to move out of state. We call on Aida and PC and we were grateful and fortunate to work with Jamee Whittan. Jamee is fantastic! We immediately connected on what needed to be done and, again, Jamee did not wait for guidance – she assessed the situation after a walk-through and formed a “game plan!” This efficiency reduced the stress enough so that I felt at ease to focus on work and other tasks. Jamee was very friendly and patient and listened as we sorted through the priorities and next steps. She remembered details of our schedule (including packing for my husband who was taking boxes to FL in advance of JK moving). Jamee was very helpful in setting the schedule for future visits. Once she had a schedule conflict and she immediately arranged for Kristen O’Brien to help. I appreciated that since I had blocked the time in advance. Kristen was equally friendly, efficient, professional, and patient!!!. I called for help during a very busy time but PC went “the extra mile!” It was a pleasure to work with Jamee and Kristen and I trusted them both. We simply didn't have enough time to coordinate all aspects of the move AND continue to work – and we were grateful that Aida, Jamee, and Kristen stepped in to help. We appreciated their patience and kind approach to an otherwise stressful situation. We still felt stress related to the move, but not with Jamee and Kristen! I assumed I would help with packing (!) but they had confidence in their approach and took initiative to get things done, leaving me to work on other tasks. They communicated well during the process to ensure we were always on the same page. They were both so very easy to get along with and they managed to get so much done each day while creating a calm environment. Truly 5-star service!

I felt compelled to share my experience with one of your personal assistants, Sara Coles. Sara represented your client who wanted to purchase a hot tub. Sara interview our company as a possible choice for a high end Jacuzzi model. Her client, being very busy, leaned on Sara to manage the entire process from the researching through the delivery. We worked hand in hand with Sara to make sure the sales process for her client was smooth, on time and exactly everything her client had expected. Vicki came to reorganize two of my closets and had everything done within 3 hours! We tossed very few items and yet by the end I had gained back a lot of space in the closets.

I hired Potomac Concierge to help my parents after they downsized from their home in NH and settled in a retirement community in MD. Helen did a wonderful job communicating what she accomplished after every meeting with my parents…from helping with online accounts, auto-pay set-up and scheduling, decluttering email & cancelling old accounts, to creating a shared family calendar and prioritizing tasks for my parents to complete, the dependable schedule we set up with Helen was invaluable in reassuring my brother and I, as we both live in other states. My parents loved working with her too 🙂 So happy I found this personal assistant service in the DC metro area!!

What a great experience! I had Kelly and Marley help me with unpacking and putting things away in my new apartment right after a move in, including setting up the kitchen and master bedroom, among other tasks. They were terrific–experts at what they do, and very kind and patient with me during a very challenging moving week. I learned some great things from them about how to make my new space work best for me. I would not hesitate to work with Potomac Concierge on other home space planning projects and I recommend them highly!

Using Potomac Concierge Services has been a game changer and amazing for our family! They helped us prepare for a move to temporary locations in preparation for a house renovation. Robin and team were incredible/terrific/great! They helped us declutter our house before we moved, helped coordinate the move, helped pack and unpack into our new temporary spaces! They thought of all the details that I would have forgotten. And, they also supported during the stressful moments. This is the first week that I have not seen any of them in the past two and a half months and I miss them. They are all so pleasant, helpful and fun. We are going to use them when we move back into our house and will continue with them on an ongoing basis so we can stay organized. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Potomac Concierge!

Libby, Shannon and Claire helped me move with very little notice. I thought I could do everything myself, but got too busy with work. They had less than two weeks notice and made it happen. Not only am I unpacked, but all of the boxes are gone and my kitchen is better organized than if I had done it myself. They are extremely professional and pleasant to work with and would definitely use them again!!! I’ve never felt in better hands.

For our move we engaged Potomac Concierge to help us stage our home for potential buyers and packing our possessions. Since we are moving from a four-bedroom house to a two-bedroom apartment, we had to downsize which meant de-cluttering some of our possessions. Someone said that the top three stressful events in a life are death, divorce, and moving. The Potomac Concierge team did a fabulous job at every stage of our move. They were competent, professional, efficient, and knowledgeable and, in addition reduced our stress to a very manageable level. They quickly identified those possessions that were not to be shown to potential buyers and those that we should consider discarding but showed sensitivity to our emotional attachments to some items. When it came time to packing, the team quickly and thoroughly did it, including labeling the boxes so we could find where our possessions were after we arrived at our new residence. We do not know how we could have so successfully moved without the support of Potomac Concierge and highly recommend using them for any relocation

I am so thankfully I was able to work with Jamee for 9 months last year as I was preparing to relocate to Massachusetts. I have a lot of stuff and it was a disorganized mess. Jamee was great to work with. She was very patient and non judgemental. We got so much done each visit! She helped me get rid of trash and donations. She hooked me up with green Drop in Friendship Heights and inspired me to do some donations even on days I was not working with her. I don't know how I could have handle getting ready for the move without her. Now that I am in Massachusetts, I wish I could find someone even 10% as great to help me get settled in. I highly recommend Potomac Concierge and especially Jamee to anyone.

Potomac Concierge recently helped us move my father out of his home of more than a half-century and across the country to a senior living community. This was, as you can imagine, a complex and stressful undertaking, and they handled it all with patience, experitse, and thoughtfulness. Libby was very effective in getting the project off the ground–setting expectations, understanding our needs, getting to grips with the particular situation. This took a bit, but once we were going she found the right solutions to our situation. In particular she assigned Dana to our case. I can't recommend her highly enough. We literally could not have done it without her. She went out of her way to make this easier for my father, and for the rest of us, who live relatively far away. I have to tell you how wonderful and incredible both Rachel and Dana were in getting our attic, basement, and tool shed in ship-shape order!  They're both amazingly efficient, hard-working, energetic, and very nice!  Both my husband and I appreciated their taking charge of the mess at our house.  It will really help make our lives so much cleaner and easier. Well, it finally happened: A big move forced me to deal with my storage unit! I had a mix of *stuff* ranging from old furniture to art supplies–my own items and my late mother's–and it was nearly impossible to make a dent on my own. Between Jennifer's truly outstanding organizational skills and the help of a small crew to move heavy items (and remove the things I needed to part with), my 10×22' nightmare became a manageable space in three hours! I would go so far as to say that it was a genuinely fun morning–which is especially impressive given the sheer emotional weight of going through a parent's personal effects.
